Link Travel Group owners and their partners have gathered in Bangkok for the group’s annual retreat, which will be held at the Kimpton Maa-Lai through to Sunday.

Previous retreats were held in the Adelaide Hills and Palm Cove, with last year’s staged in Brisbane as part of Link Live.

The program opened with a welcome event on Thursday night. Friday’s agenda includes the general manager’s report, featuring a look at Link’s financial performance, along with business updates from sponsors Singapore Airlines, AMA Waterways, Chimu Adventures and Royal Caribbean Group. A “dine around” and a tuk tuk tour of the city will close out the day.

On Saturday, a behavioural specialist, criminologist and neuroscientist – sponsored by nib Travel Insurance – will address delegates on how to “think differently and perform brilliantly”. A team-building activity, details of which are being kept under wraps, will follow.

The Owners Awards Dinner will close out the day at The Langham, Customs House Bangkok, where guests will tour the five-star property ahead of its opening.

Link general manager Scott Darlow said the retreat would see the group review FY26 and chart its course for 2027 and beyond.

“You can feel the excitement in the air today, and over the next two days and three nights, our owners and their partners will be wined and dined throughout various locations in this magnificent city, all while enjoying each other’s company,” he said.

“Many of Link’s core values that guide the business, such as integrity, connection and collaboration, and transparency, will be on full show as we review FY26, and set course for 2027 and beyond.”

Launched in May 2022, Link is a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group, The Goldman Group and Spencer Travel Holdings. The invitation-only group works with independently operated agencies in the luxury and corporate sectors.
