Oakwood has opened bookings for its new 122-room Oakwood Epping Melbourne, which will open on Monday 2 November in Melbourne’s northern corridor.

The property joins Oakwood Premier Melbourne as the brand’s second Australian location, with an Adelaide property due to follow in 2027.

Located at 160 Cooper Street, the hotel offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, all with kitchenettes. Deluxe studios and apartments have private balconies, and accessible and interconnecting options are available.

Facilities include onsite food and beverage, a gym, secure parking, in-room and onsite washer-dryers, and an upper-level alfresco terrace with BBQ facilities.

To mark the opening, the first 50 bookings made with the code OWEOPEN will get a Studio Deluxe for $169 a night, including complimentary parking and an in-room welcome gift. The offer is valid for Studio Deluxe rooms only and must be booked through the Oakwood website by selecting the “Exclusive Opening Offer”.

The opening comes days before the Whittlesea Show on 7 and 8 November.

The hotel sits close to Northern Hospital Epping and its health precinct, Pacific Epping Shopping Centre and the Melbourne Market, with M80 Ring Road access to Melbourne Airport.

The Ascott Limited Australasia managing director David Mansfield said demand for quality longer-stay accommodation was already there in Epping, one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing areas.
