Travel trade identities Charlie Trevena and Richard Taylor will co-host the 2026 CATO Christmas Lunch, to be held on December 3 at Le Montage in Lilyfield, Sydney.

The event is open to the whole travel industry, including agents, suppliers, tour operators and wholesalers. For the first time since ATIA merged with CATO, ATIA members can buy tickets at the discounted member price.

Trevena, founder of Destination Webinars, returns to the CATO stage after hosting its International Women’s Day lunch in March. Taylor, founder and managing director of Talent for Travel, comes to the lunch after hosting the Beyond Borders Travel Summit.

“Charlie has a wonderful ability to make everyone feel part of the event, and Richard brings a great rapport to the stage,” CATO director of CATO and education Mira Yates said. We’re excited to see these two travel legends team up for a lunch that’s all about bringing our industry together and having some fun.”

Panel highlights

The program features a panel of six tour guides from around the world sharing stories from touring, with time set aside for networking. Tables of 10 are limited, with tickets available at cato.travel/events.

Yates said the lunch would bring together more of the industry than ever before.
