kabarsula FIRST LOOK: WSI’s new international lounge bandar SLOT INDONESIA
Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) has revealed the first look at its new international lounge.
Set to open in November, ahead of the peak holiday travel period, The Rayleigh Lounge will be operated by dnata and will welcome eligible passengers flying with Singapore Airlines.
The airline is set to launch daily non-stop flights between WSI and Singapore Changi Airport on 23 November.
Customers of WSI’s other international airline partners will also have access to this signature lounge experience as their respective services commence over the months ahead.

Located on the terminal’s mezzanine level with views across the airfield to the Blue Mountains, The Rayleigh Lounge will deliver contemporary Australian design and premium hospitality with a distinctly Western Sydney character.
WSI CEO Simon Hickey said the lounge would be an important part of the experience passengers could expect from Sydney’s new 24-hour international gateway.
“We’re creating a premium airport experience that is distinctly Western Sydney. The Rayleigh Lounge will give travellers a welcoming place to dine, work or unwind before their flight, with thoughtful design, top-tier hospitality and views across the World-Heritage-listed Blue Mountains,” he said.
“It will open ahead of the holiday period, giving our international travellers an outstanding start to their journey from Western Sydney to the world.
“As more airlines join WSI and more passengers choose to fly from Western Sydney, The Rayleigh Lounge will grow with them. That is how we have designed the entire airport: ready for today and built to grow with Sydney for generations to come.”

Contemporary Australian design
Designed by COX Architecture, The Rayleigh Lounge draws inspiration from the Cumberland Plain and Blue Mountains region. The lounge will showcase furniture designed by Sydney-based designer Tom Fereday.
It will feature dedicated lounge and dining areas, a feature bar and an open kitchen, as well as fast Wi-fi, integrated charging and three private shower suites.
dnata Airport Operations Australia managing director Burt Sigsworth said that operating a lounge at a 24-hour airport means consistent, high-quality experience throughout all points of a passenger’s journey.
“We’ll bring dnata’s international experience in airport hospitality and food service to The Rayleigh Lounge, while working with local producers to give the offering a strong connection to Western Sydney,” he said.
The Rayleigh Lounge will open with a capacity of around 80 seats and has been designed to expand to around 130, while the WSI terminal also has designated space for additional international and domestic lounge offerings, which can be considered as airline and passenger demand grows over the years ahead.
