LATAM has started the delivery process for the first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to join the group’s fleet, which will be completed in the coming days.

LATAM Airlines Brasil will initially operate the first E195-E2s, which are among the 12 scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026. The Brazilian affiliate expects another 12 aircraft in 2027.

The milestone builds on the agreement announced in September 2025, which included 24 firm aircraft orders and 50 additional purchase options.

“This first E195-E2 represents a concrete step in the evolution of the LATAM group’s fleet,” LATAM Airlines Group CEO Roberto Alvo said. “Its addition will allow us to serve markets with different needs and connect more cities to our network, while maintaining our focus on the passenger experience.”

The airline’s first E195-E2s will enter service between November 2026 and March 2027. In the first phase, the first 14 aircraft of this model will be deployed on 42 routes, including eight new routes and four destinations new to the company’s network: Cabo Frio, Ji-Paraná, Macaé and Rondonópolis.

Inside the cabins, the new Embraer E195-E2s will feature 136 seats in a 2-2 configuration, with no middle seat, and will offer Premium Economy and Economy cabins. Premium Economy can offer up to 20 seats, depending on the aircraft’s configuration.

The E195-E2, the largest aircraft in Embraer’s E-Jets E2 family, combines operational efficiency and comfort, with fuel consumption up to 30 per cent lower than that of first-generation E-Jets.
