Silversea has revealed new sailings for its Voyage Collection 2028–29, spanning September 2028 to May 2029 and covering 219 destinations, including 29 new ports of call. General sales open tomorrow, following a preview for Venetian Society members on October 6.

Itineraries are timed to cultural moments such as Carnival in Venice and Rio de Janeiro, and New Year’s Eve in Funchal and Sydney.

Silversea president Bert Hernandez said the collection offers “industry-leading depth across every region”, with guests able to choose voyages built around a culinary season or a whole continent.

Australia and New Zealand

Silver Moon will spend the season in Australia and New Zealand, operating 10 voyages between October 2028 and March 2029 and visiting 42 destinations across three countries. New calls include Batemans Bay and Phillip Island, along with a scenic cruise through Dusky Sound.

New combination voyages in New Zealand include a round-trip Melbourne itinerary, while new routes link Australia and Indonesia. Silver Moon will also host an overnight New Year’s Eve call in Sydney.

Asia

Silver Moon and Silver Muse will complete 26 Asia voyages between September 2028 and May 2029, calling at 62 destinations across 11 countries. Eight new ports are added: Yeosu, Hitachinaka, Miyako-jima, Vigan, Muara, Sihanoukville, Makassar and Maizuru (Kyoto). Kobe and Bali are introduced as new turnaround ports.

Sailings are timed to Japan’s cherry blossom season and Hong Kong’s Lunar New Year.

Grand South America 2029

Silver Nova will operate the 75-night Grand South America 2029 voyage, a round-trip circumnavigation departing Fort Lauderdale on January 13, 2029 and returning on March 29. The itinerary includes a Panama Canal transit, scenic cruising of the Antarctic Peninsula, and overnight stays in Manaus, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Callao (Lima) and Cartagena.

Three exclusive events are planned: a sunset reception in Gustavia, St Barts; Rio Carnival viewing from a reserved space at the Sambadrome; and a private rooftop event in Cartagena.

Mediterranean

A two-ship deployment of Silver Nova and Silver Dawn will operate 17 Mediterranean voyages between October 2028 and March 2029, calling at 53 destinations across 12 countries. New calls include Brindisi and Imperia, with overnight stays in Cadiz, Funchal, Fusina (Venice), Genoa, Istanbul, Livorno, Naples and Valletta.

Silver Dawn‘s overnight calls in Venice will allow guests to experience Carnival after dark, including a Casanova-inspired evening event. Another sailing will be positioned in Funchal for New Year’s Eve fireworks before continuing to Casablanca and Tangier. The ship will also add three sailings featuring Alexandria, with a Great Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum excursion, and two additional sailings calling at Istanbul.

S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages

Three Wine & Truffle sailings aboard Silver Dawn will run from October to December across Italy and Spain, from Livorno to Palamos, with truffle-hunting excursions, vineyard tours and onboard tastings. Four Asian Markets sailings aboard Silver Muse will operate between Singapore and Hong Kong, with chef-led market tours and visits to hawker stalls and street food destinations.

Caribbean

Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit and Silver Shadow will operate 38 Caribbean and Central America voyages between November 2028 and March 2029, calling at 34 destinations across 21 countries, including new call La Romana in the Dominican Republic. All four ships offer round-trip departures from Miami, Fort Lauderdale or San Juan.

Silversea will also offer a Destination Experience at Canouan, in St Vincent and the Grenadines, featuring a Carnival-style welcome with local dancers and a steel band, followed by a beachside soiree. Silver Ray and Silver Spirit will each run round-trip Miami sailings of eight to 12 days featuring St Barts.
