Capella Hotel Group has appointed Lauren Tesch as regional director of sales, Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Sydney, Tesch brings more than 20 years of experience spanning luxury hospitality, aviation, travel, loyalty and commercial partnerships.

Most recently, she served as commercial director APAC at The Appointment Group (TAG), where she led commercial strategy and supplier relationships across Asia Pacific.

Tesch also spent more than seven years with Qantas Loyalty, where she held responsibility for strategic partnerships across the Qantas Frequent Flyer ecosystem as senior product manager and commercial partnerships manager. She has also held product and commercial roles with Flight Centre Global Product.

Tesch brings a deep understanding of the luxury travel landscape, having worked across both sides of the partnership equation. During her time at TAG, she worked closely with Capella Hotel Group and its portfolio of properties as a commercial partner.

In her new role, Tesch will work closely with the group’s portfolio properties, commercial teams and travel partners across Australia and New Zealand to strengthen the Group’s presence within the luxury travel community, deepen strategic trade relationships and identify new opportunities for growth, revenue and market share.
