Philippine Airlines (PAL) will boost the frequency of its Melbourne-Manila flights to daily operations beginning 20 November, 2026.
The upgrade from five weekly flights coincides with the peak year-end travel season in Australia.
PAL engineered the schedule for seamless transfers at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The daily flights from Melbourne to Manila will depart 9:20 AM and arrive 2:25 PM. Meanwhile, the daily flights from Manila to Melbourne will depart 8:20 PM and arrive 7:30 AM plus one day.
The expanded schedule provides convenient connections via Manila to PAL’s network across Asia, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul (Incheon), and key destinations in Japan such as Tokyo (Narita and Haneda) and Osaka (Kansai).
“Moving to a daily schedule for the Melbourne-Manila service gives Victorians unmatched choice and flexibility during the busiest travel period of the year,” PAL country manager of ANZ & PNG Krystle Ramirez-Gastrock said. “Whether it’s Aussie holidaymakers heading to the beaches of the Philippines, travellers connecting to Japan’s snowfields, or families reuniting for the festive season, PAL is proud to strengthen Victoria’s vital link to Asia and beyond.”
The added frequencies will also provide more cargo capacity, supporting trade between Australia and the Philippines while strengthening connectivity through Manila.
PAL’s partnership with Qantas complements the increase to daily Melbourne flights by allowing Mabuhay Miles and Qantas Frequent Flyer members to redeem their miles across both airlines’ networks.
Travellers can now book the new Melbourne flights on PAL’s website.
