Qantas has launched a massive domestic sale offering more than two million discounted seats across Australia, with one-way fares starting from $99 and travel dates extending into September 2027.

The seven-day sale, launched on Thursday (29 October), covers more than 100 routes and 58 destinations, with discounted Economy and Business fares available for selected travel dates between 30 November 2026 and 30 September 2027.

The promotion includes selected flights during some of Australia’s busiest holiday periods, including Christmas, New Year, Easter and the winter school holidays.

Economy fares start from $99 one-way between Sydney and Ballina (Byron Bay), while Brisbane to Hervey Bay and Adelaide to Kangaroo Island are available from $109.

Across the domestic network, 39 routes have one-way Economy fares priced below $149.

Other discounted routes include Sydney to Melbourne from $139, Melbourne to Launceston from $129, Brisbane to Newcastle from $129 and Perth to Geraldton from $169.

Business class fares from $299

Qantas is also targeting growing demand for premium leisure travel, with discounted Business fares starting from $299 one-way.

Selected routes include Brisbane to Newcastle and Canberra to Melbourne from $299, while Sydney to Melbourne Business fares start from $349.

Travellers flying from Perth to Sydney can access Business fares from $999 one-way.

Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said the sale provided an opportunity for Australians to secure flights ahead of the peak holiday season.

“With school holidays just around the corner, this sale is a great opportunity to lock in a fare for that next summer holiday,” Svensson said.

“With 58 destinations on sale there are plenty of options for a quick break as well as for those looking for an extended vacation.”

He also encouraged travellers to consider regional destinations.

“Some of the best-value trips can be found beyond the usual holiday spots, so we’d encourage travellers to take a look at what’s on offer across regional Australia.”

Svensson added that Qantas was seeing more leisure travellers choosing Business class, with the sale offering opportunities to access lounges, additional onboard comfort and more Status Credits.

The sale closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 4 November 2026, unless sold out earlier.
