Luxury Charter Portofino has introduced Two Gulfs Experience — Surrounding Portofino, a new private boat tour experience.

The voyage connects the Gulf of Tigullio and the Gulf of Paradiso and brings together five destinations, secluded bays, and the maritime heritage of the Italian Riviera.

At the heart of Two Gulfs Experience is Captain Luca, whose knowledge of the coastline goes beyond navigation.

He brings Ligurian maritime heritage, local traditions, history, and coastal legends to life, connecting the places guests discover with the stories that have shaped them.

His perspective comes from a life spent at sea. It transforms the journey from a succession of scenic stops into a personal encounter with the culture and identity of the Italian Riviera.

Luxury Charter Portofino developed and tested the Two Gulfs Experience throughout summer 2026 with international guests.

The five destinations

• Sestri Levante – a distinctive seaside town framed by two bays.
• Santa Margherita Ligure – an elegant coastal town with deep maritime roots.
• Portofino – the iconic harbor and the surrounding coastline.
• San Fruttuoso – a secluded bay where history and nature meet.
• Camogli – a traditional fishing town with a strong seafaring identity.

Rather than following a rigid sightseeing schedule, the itinerary is tailored to guests’ interests, sea conditions, and preferred pace. The aim is not simply to visit more places, but to experience the coast in a more personal way.

Two Gulfs Experience will operate from April through October 2027. The company designed the experience – which is approximately seven to eight hours long – for couples, families, and small private groups seeking a full day on the water combining coastal discovery, swimming, and local insight.
