Sun Island Tours has welcomed experienced travel industry professional Craig Hunt as business development manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

Hunt brings more than 50 years of travel industry experience, and is a familiar face amongst advisors in the region. He said he looks forward to drawing on his industry knowledge to drive sales and business growth for Sun Island Tours throughout the region.

“I was initially attracted to the extensive product range Sun Island Tours offers, and then the depth of knowledge and professionalism the company is built on,” Hunt said.

“I’m really looking forward to helping agents confidently sell these destinations.”

In the new role, Hunt will visit travel agencies across Victoria and Tasmania, providing product training, educational resources and consistent sales support. His focus will span Sun Island Tours’ portfolio, including Mediterranean cruising, small-group touring and guaranteed coach touring.

Craig brings valuable experience and strong relationships to our team, and we’re excited about the opportunities he will create for our trade partners,” Sun Island Tours Joint CEO, John Polyviou, said.

The change comes as Bianca French takes on more time within Sun Island Tours’ reservations team. French will maintain her strong relationships with Victorian travel advisors through more direct channels.
