Berkeley River Lodge will welcome Champagne Bollinger as one of several new additions to the remote luxury lodge in 2027.
The partnership marks the first time Bollinger has launched an exclusive arrangement in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
The lodge, which rebuilt after Cyclone Fina hit the property, will run its curated five-night itinerary from 1 May to 31 August 2027. The fly-in only property will add new products across its culinary offering, in-villa experience and service delivery.
“Berkeley River Lodge is an extraordinary place, where the remoteness and raw beauty of the Kimberley are matched by a deeply personal approach to luxury and hospitality,” Bollinger global sales director Cyril Delarue said.
“Around the world, we seek to bring people together through distinctive experiences that allow them to discover Bollinger in remarkable settings, and we are incredibly proud to be the Lodge’s exclusive Champagne partner.”

New additions
Some of the new experiences include:
- Bollinger as the house pour – the partnership extends to The Berkeley Reserve, an exclusive list of champagnes and wines available for purchase.
- Twilight Terroir Tasting – guests taste the Ampersand Estates wines paired with the degustation as the sun sets over the Kimberley horizon.
- Fire & Coast, Berkeley’s Barefoot Barbecue – trialled poolside in 2026, this dining experience moves to the “Sunset Spot”, with a custom-made bar, handcrafted furniture, an open-flame grill and sand underfoot.
- Kimberley Botanicals Masterclass – in partnership with Blue Moon Distillers, guests walk the lodge’s newly propagated garden to meet native plants and learn about their oils. They then distil their own essential oil to take home after morning tea.
- The Berkeley Evening Ritual – a different Kimberley-inspired gift, such as artisan chocolate, spices or tea, awaits guests at turndown each night.
- The Berkeley Boutique – revamped with a new collection, including a partnership with Akubra. Kimberley classics such as Argyle pink diamonds remain on offer.
- 100 per cent solar power – Cyclone Fina destroyed the lodge’s solar network completely. The lodge will rebuild it for 2027, re-establishing what it describes as an even lighter footprint.
