Virgin Australia has unveiled a new name for its corporate travel offering as it goes after a larger slice of the business travel market.
The airline has launched Virgin Australia Corporate Travel, targeting businesses spending more than $500,000 a year on flights.
The offering provides larger businesses with tailored discounts, dedicated support from a Partner Manager and Velocity perks, including lounge access for eligible travellers, in exchange for contracted corporate travel spend.
The benefits extend across Virgin Australia, Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) in Western Australia and the airline’s international partners.
The rebrand comes as Australian businesses look to manage rising costs and get more value from their corporate travel budgets.

It also completes Virgin Australia’s business travel portfolio, sitting alongside Virgin Australia Business Flyer, which launched in April 2022 and caters to small and medium-sized businesses spending up to $500,000 annually on flights.
Virgin Australia General Manager, Sales, Darren McDermott, said the new branding would provide greater clarity for corporate customers.
“Virgin Australia has been supporting businesses with corporate travel for more than two decades, and the launch of Virgin Australia Corporate Travel underpins what we are offering in the market,” he said.
“We know businesses are looking closely at how they spend, particularly amid rising inflation. That’s why we’re focused on offering some of the best-value fares in the market, along with tailored discounts and dedicated Partner Manager support.”
McDermott said the new offering builds on the success of Business Flyer, with benefits tailored specifically to larger organisations.
The airline is also positioning its service and reliability as selling points for corporate customers, citing its recent recognition as Australia’s Most Trusted Travel & Tourism Brand by Roy Morgan for the fourth consecutive year.
The rebrand is the first of several announcements planned for the coming months as Virgin Australia looks to strengthen its position in the corporate travel market.
“The new name is just the first step in a broader focus on growing our corporate travel proposition and strengthening our share of the market,” McDermott said.
