Viking will host its final Virtual Explorer Session of 2026 this Thursday, 24 September, spotlighting the line’s 17-day Capitals of Eastern Europe river voyage.

The free online event, running just over an hour, is designed to help agents inspire future travel and generate bookings by taking clients on a virtual journey from Vienna to Bucharest – exploring Austria’s musical legacy, grand Habsburg-era palaces and lesser-known gems across the Balkans.

The session includes a live Q&A, exclusive booking offers and prize giveaways, with one attendee to win a companion cruise fare worth up to $11,000. If the winning guest was referred by a travel advisor, that advisor will also receive $1,000 in Rewards by Viking points.

Agents can earn $10 in Rewards by Viking points for each client who attends via their referral, plus an additional AU$50 in bonus points if that client books within 14 days of the session. To qualify, agents must email clients’ names to [email protected] prior to the session.
