Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay has wrapped another successful year as official accommodation partner of the Fiji Pro Presented by Corona Cero, following a Finals Day at Cloudbreak that crowned Cole Houshmand and Erin Brooks champions.

Located a 20-minute boat ride from Cloudbreak, the resort gave guests easy access to the competition while offering its own dining, wellness and cultural experiences across the week. Brooks claimed her third Championship Tour victory, while Houshmand secured his third win from his first Finals appearance at Cloudbreak in Fiji.

The event marked another chapter in a partnership that has grown since the Fiji Pro returned to Fiji in 2024, when the resort first signed on as an official accommodation partner. That momentum continued in 2025 with the resort hosting the Lexus WSL Finals Fiji and the announcement that Fiji would remain on the World Surf League Championship Tour through 2029.

This year the resort again played a role beyond accommodation, hosting the Fiji Pro’s official opening and closing ceremonies and welcoming athletes, officials, media and guests throughout event week. Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka attended the closing ceremony and presented the winners following Finals Day, with students from neighbouring village primary schools also in attendance.

Across the tournament period from 25 August to 4 September, the resort recorded average occupancy of approximately 98 per cent, peaking at 100 per cent, while welcoming an average of more than 470 guests per night.

The partnership extended the Fiji Pro experience beyond Cloudbreak with activations for resort guests and Marriott Bonvoy members, including exclusive Bonvoy catamaran sailings and a limited number of Elite members invited aboard the WSL VIP spectator boat. Back at the resort, live broadcasts at Lagoon Lounge and a Surf Bar activation on Lagoon Beach – offering complimentary Corona Cero beverages – brought the championship atmosphere into the guest experience.
