The Catholic Business Network of the Diocese of Wilmington kicks off another full season of morning gatherings with topical discussions aimed at enriching people of good will in the business community.

The network founded in 2025 kicks this season off Sept. 18 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine with an important topic: “Soul of business: Catholic leadership in the age of A.I.”

Diocesan priest Father Joseph W. McQuaide IV will be the presenter. Father McQuaide is chancellor of the diocese, rector of Cathedral of St. Peter and pastor of St. Patrick and St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception parishes in downtown Wilmington.

Joining the presentation will be Pasquale “Pat” Zingo, a Newark resident. He converted to Roman Catholicism while working on his doctorate in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Delaware in 2022. He completed his Ph.D. in 2024 after writing his thesis “Applications and Evaluation of Deep Generative Augmentation Methods”, and now runs FNDRSNG, a small software business which provides tech support to Christian radio stations.

Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program starts at 8 a.m. Cost is $40 and first-time attendees get a free print and digital advertising package in The Dialog newspaper and on TheDialog.org, the news outlets for the diocese.
