Donations to the Blue Dragon Walk will be doubled for the next 48 hours after an anonymous donor pledged $30,000 to the campaign.

Every dollar donated during the matching period will be matched until the pool is exhausted. The campaign has a target of $500,000.

The Blue Dragon Walk takes place this Sunday.  Funds will go to the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, which supports people experiencing poverty, homelessness, trafficking and slavery in Vietnam.

The Intrepid Foundation and Intrepid Travel are supporting the campaign. Intrepid CEO James Thornton and co-founder Darrell Wade among those completing the walk in New York.

Donations can have a direct impact on people supported by Blue Dragon. A $150 donation can keep a child in school for a year, while $350 can help a family start a livestock farm.

A $500 donation can help reunite a trafficking survivor with their family and provide emergency support, while $1,000 can fund a rescue operation to bring someone home from slavery.

The Blue Dragon Walk is aiming to raise $500,000, with donations made during the next 48 hours eligible for the matching pledge.
