Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has revealed its 2028 program, headlined by three new Super Ships, eight new itineraries and a fresh take on its Mystery Cruise concept.

The new routes will take guests to lesser-explored destinations along the Danube and Rhine, introduce extended journeys spanning multiple rivers and countries, and offer new ways to experience Germany and France over the festive season. The additions will expand Uniworld’s fleet to 22 ships.

“2028 has been open for sale in Australia and New Zealand for a few weeks now and we’re seeing huge demand for the programs on our new-build fleet,” president and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Ellen Bettridge said.

“Today we announce eight brand new itineraries that will give our guests the opportunity to see more, travel further and experience some of our favourite destinations in entirely new ways.”

New ships for 2028

Uniworld will welcome three ships in 2028: S.S. Helen, S.S. Clara and Mekong Mystique. S.S. Helen will sail the Danube, S.S. Clara will join the Rhine fleet, and Mekong Mystique will expand the line’s presence along the Mekong.

S.S. Helen and S.S. Clara are named after Helen of Troy and Flemish Golden Age painter Clara Peeters respectively.

Mystery Journey

Uniworld is putting a fresh spin on its guest-favourite Mystery Cruise concept in 2028 with the debut of an 11-day Mystery Journey, beginning June 15.

Guests will know only two details in advance – arrival via Luxembourg Airport and departure from Zürich Airport – with the itinerary and destinations kept under wraps until departure.
