TTC Tour Brands is bringing Insight Vacations and Costsaver under the Trafalgar name, combining the three brands’ portfolios into one expanded offering as the company looks to simplify its structure.

The transition will begin in September 2026, with Insight Vacations and Costsaver products progressively rebranded under Trafalgar during 2027. The products themselves are not being discontinued, with their existing itineraries, experiences and pricing remaining unchanged for 2027 departures.

From Q4 2026, Insight Vacations and Costsaver will be incorporated into an expanded Trafalgar portfolio, giving advisors access to more than 600 itineraries across 75 countries through a single brand.

What’s changing?

While the Insight Vacations and Costsaver names will eventually be phased out, their respective product offerings will continue under Trafalgar’s new tiered structure.

The move will bring the three existing product ranges together across five travel categories – Tours, Small Groups, River Cruises, Rail Journeys and Group Sales – with three value tiers: Saver, Classic and Premium.

Under the new structure, Costsaver will become Trafalgar Saver, Trafalgar’s existing product will sit within the Classic tier, and Insight Vacations will become Trafalgar Premium. The three tiers will retain the distinct positioning of the existing products.

Insight Vacations’ premium offering will retain its elevated hotels, dining and experiences, while Costsaver’s value-focused products will continue to offer flexibility and value. Trafalgar’s existing offering will form the Classic tier.

Importantly, the consolidation will not change existing 2027 products. Existing itineraries, experiences and pricing will remain unchanged for 2027 departures, with the primary change being how those products are presented and sold under the Trafalgar brand.

During the transition, Insight Vacations and Costsaver products will remain bookable alongside their new Trafalgar versions through a code-share arrangement.

Three brands, one portfolio

The rebrand follows Trafalgar’s recent expansion into river cruising and small group travel and represents a broader shift from a traditional guided touring brand to a single portfolio covering multiple travel styles and budgets.

“Growth has given us more ways than ever to serve travellers, but more choice shouldn’t mean more complexity for the agents who sell us,” TTC Tour Brands Oceania SVP Sales, Andrew Young said.

“Bringing these experiences together under Trafalgar allows us to preserve what agents and their clients value while removing layers that no longer make it easy to do business with us.”

Young said the new structure would allow advisors to use Trafalgar as a single starting point when selecting a holiday for their clients.

“We want an agent to be able to come to Trafalgar with a client and find the right way for them to travel, whether that means a premium tour, a small group, a river cruise or a completely different experience as their needs evolve,” he said.

The expanded Trafalgar brand will also be supported by its biggest-ever brand investment, aimed at increasing consumer awareness and generating additional demand and sales opportunities for trade partners.

The move means advisors will be able to access the Costsaver, Trafalgar and Insight Vacations offerings through a single brand, rather than having to navigate separate brand portfolios.

The three-tier structure is designed to make it easier to understand the differences between products and quickly identify the right option for each client.

Preparing for the change

TTC Tour Brands has launched the Your New Era with Trafalgar hub on its Travel Agent Portal (TAP) to help advisors prepare for the change, with information, training and resources available alongside live webinars and self-paced eLearning.

An Oceania webinar explaining the new Trafalgar structure will be held on 3 September at 12pm AEST / 2pm NZST.

Additional features will be added to the Travel Agent Portal in Q4 2026 to help advisors navigate the five travel categories and three value tiers, with the expanded portfolio also becoming live and bookable through the trade portal during the quarter.
