Qantas has resumed international flights from Adelaide, relaunching its seasonal Auckland service today (30 October) with an additional weekly flight over the peak summer holiday period.
The airline’s direct Adelaide–Auckland route returns for a second consecutive season, operating until 26 April 2027.
Flights will depart Adelaide at 8.45am on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, with an additional Wednesday service operating between 14 December 2026 and 17 January 2027.
The expanded schedule will see Qantas operate up to five weekly flights between the South Australian capital and New Zealand’s largest city during the peak holiday period.
Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace said the airline was pleased to build on the route’s first season.
“Bringing international flying back to Adelaide last year was a big moment for Qantas, and we’re really pleased to be back for a second season, this time with an extra Wednesday service over December and January,” Wallace said.
“South Australians have embraced the chance to fly Qantas internationally from their home city, and we’re excited to keep building on that.”
