Nordic specialist 50 Degrees North has wrapped its 2026 Nordic Roadshow in Australia, with more than 300 travel advisors attending five sessions in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne last week.
The roadshow brought seven partners from Norway, Finland and Iceland face to face with advisors, pairing short supplier presentations with open networking. The partners covered the Norwegian coast and fjords, Finnish Lapland and Iceland’s volcanic south, with products ranging from coastal voyages and fjord railways to Arctic lodges and glacier excursions.
One attendee from each of the three cities’ events won a $5000 50 Degrees North travel voucher, redeemable on one of the operator’s Nordic small group tours.

The winners
- Jenna Nochez (Blue Agave Travel) and Rebecca Harrison (TravelManagers) in Brisbane
- Elizabeth Johns (Hastwell Travel & Cruise) in Adelaide
- Kate Gaskell (Wolf & Turner Travel Associates) and James Jang (Helloworld South Melbourne) in Melbourne
The visiting partners also awarded 35 further prizes across the sessions, from hotel stays to guided experiences in Norway, Iceland and Lapland.
50 Degrees North head of partnerships APAC Salla Ekman said the format works because no single supplier covers the whole region.
“No single supplier tells the whole Nordic story, which is exactly why a roadshow like this works,” she said. “They each know their own part of the North inside out; we’re the ones who join it into a journey. An advisor who hears all seven in one afternoon leaves with a better understanding of how a trip across the region fits together, not just a list of names.”
The operator combines stays, experiences and transport such as trains, ferries and transfers across countries into a single itinerary, backed by local expertise and 24-hour emergency support.
The roadshow followed a debut in 2025, and 50 Degrees North plans to expand it to Sydney, Perth and its home city of Melbourne in 2027.
