The countdown to the cruise industry’s biggest night of celebration has begun, with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today opening nominations for the 24th Annual Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia.
From now until Friday 20 November 2026, CLIA members will be able to nominate themselves or their peers for the most prestigious awards available to cruise specialist travel advisors in Australia and New Zealand. Fifteen award categories will be judged this year, including 10 open to peer- or self-nomination.
The awards will be announced at a gala celebration on Saturday 13 February 2027, to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
Each award will recognise the key role Australian and New Zealand travel agents have played in the success of the cruise industry, highlighting their dedication and professionalism in a thriving global cruise market.
“The Annual Cruise Industry Awards are about celebrating the brightest stars of our Australasian CLIA community, and they are a fantastic opportunity for members to boost their profile and gain valuable recognition,” said CLIA executive director in Australasia Joel Katz.
“We want to hear about the achievements that deserve acknowledgement, whether through exceptional sales performance, outstanding customer service, innovation, business growth or an impactful cruise promotion. Our CLIA members in Australia and New Zealand are among the most dedicated and professional travel advisors in the world, so we want to honour their hard work.”
The Cruise Industry Awards are open to all current CLIA travel agent members in Australia and New Zealand, with nominations closing Friday, 20 November 2026.
