Qantas has launched a week-long international airfare sale across its Asia network, discounting fares to 10 destinations including Bali, Singapore, Tokyo, Sapporo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Bengaluru.

The sale lands as Australians travel to Asia in growing numbers – Indonesia was the most visited destination of the 2025–26 financial year with more than 1.7 million trips, while travel to Japan has climbed 105 per cent on pre-pandemic levels, according to ABS figures.

“Japan continues to be one of the most popular destinations on our international network and this sale gives customers the chance to lock in a seat for the snow season in Hokkaido, cherry blossom season in Tokyo, or a few days of food and city life in between,” Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace said.

“There’s also great value right across the rest of Asia, from Bali and Singapore to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila and Bengaluru, so whether it’s a week by the pool, a long weekend of food and shopping, or a trip to see family, there’s something here for every kind of traveller.”

The airline has included seats on its seasonal Sydney–Sapporo service, which returns on 7 December, with Economy fares from $1,349 return. Travellers can book for December, or from February through to late March – the peak of the Hokkaido snow season, with Niseko’s ski fields around a two-hour drive from New Chitose Airport.

Economy return fares to Tokyo start from $1,349 from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with dates available from Sydney and Melbourne through cherry blossom season in late March and early April. Elsewhere across the network, economy fares start from $619 from Perth to Singapore, for travel between October 2026 and June 2027.

Bali features across every cabin, with dates available through the island’s dry season in May and August 2027. Qantas has also discounted premium cabins across the sale, with Business fares cut to every destination and Premium Economy available to Tokyo and Singapore.

Nonstop flights to India round out the sale. The Sydney–Bengaluru service returns to year-round flying from 25 October, while the seasonal Melbourne–Delhi service resumes on 26 October, operating three times a week on the airline’s A330 through to 27 March 2027.

Qantas fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, and inflight entertainment. The sale concludes on 21 September 2026.
