Msgr. George J. Brubaker, a priest of the Diocese of Wilmington more than 46 years, died Monday morning, Sept. 7, at the age of 78.<\/p>\n

Msgr. Brubaker was ordained May 24, 1980. He has been associate pastor at St. John the Baptist, Newark, and pastor at St. John the Apostle, Milford; Our Lady of Fatima, New Castle and St. Paul, Delaware City.<\/p>\n

Msgr. Brubaker also has served as chaplain to the Delaware National Guard and judicial vicar for the Diocese of Wilmington among other roles.<\/p>\n

He was granted retirement in 2023.<\/p>\n
