Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has revealed its 2028 program, headlined by three new Super Ships, eight new itineraries and a fresh take on its Mystery Cruise concept.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new routes will take guests to lesser-explored destinations along the Danube and Rhine, introduce extended journeys spanning multiple rivers and countries, and offer new ways to experience Germany and France over the festive season. The additions will expand Uniworld\u2019s fleet to 22 ships.<\/p>\n

\u201c2028 has been open for sale in Australia and New Zealand for a few weeks now and we\u2019re seeing huge demand for the programs on our new-build fleet,\u201d president and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Ellen Bettridge said.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we announce eight brand new itineraries that will give our guests the opportunity to see more, travel further and experience some of our favourite destinations in entirely new ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

New ships for 2028<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Uniworld will welcome three ships in 2028: S.S. Helen<\/em>, S.S. Clara<\/em> and Mekong Mystique<\/em>. S.S. Helen<\/em> will sail the Danube, S.S. Clara<\/em> will join the Rhine fleet, and Mekong Mystique will expand the line\u2019s presence along the Mekong.<\/p>\n

S.S. Helen<\/em> and S.S. Clara<\/em> are named after Helen of Troy and Flemish Golden Age painter Clara Peeters respectively.<\/p>\n

New itineraries<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The eight new 2028 itineraries are:<\/p>\n

  • Amsterdam to the Black Sea<\/strong> \u2013 30 days on S.S. Helen<\/em> or S.S. Clara<\/em>. A journey from Amsterdam to Bucharest tracing the Rhine, Main and Danube through nine countries.<\/li>\n
  • Eastern Europe Exploration<\/strong> \u2013 25 days on S.S. Helen<\/em> or S.S. Clara<\/em>. Prague to Bucharest across nine countries, with a focus on food, wine, art and culture.<\/li>\n
  • Danube East & West<\/strong> \u2013 18 days on S.S. Helen<\/em> or S.S. Clara<\/em>. Connecting Vienna and Bucharest across seven countries.<\/li>\n
  • Grand France Holiday<\/strong> \u2013 15 days on S.S. Catherine<\/em> and S.S. Joie de Vivre<\/em>. Combines the Rh\u00f4ne and Seine, linking Provence and Paris via a high-speed train transfer.<\/li>\n
  • Empires of the Lower Danube<\/strong> \u2013 nine days on S.S. Helen or S.S. Clara<\/em>. Belgrade to Bucharest, taking in Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.<\/li>\n
  • Dutch & Flemish Treasures<\/strong> \u2013 eight days on S.S. Clara<\/em>. Explores the Netherlands and Belgium, including Amsterdam\u2019s canals and the windmills of Kinderdijk.<\/li>\n
  • Rhone Winter Holiday<\/strong> \u2013 eight days on S.S. Catherine<\/em>. A festive Arles-to-Lyon sailing taking in Christmas markets in Provence.<\/li>\n
  • Moselle Holiday Markets<\/strong> \u2013 eight days on S.S. Clara<\/em>. D\u00fcsseldorf to Trier through Moselle Christmas markets including Cochem, Bernkastel and Koblenz.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mystery Journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Uniworld is putting a fresh spin on its guest-favourite Mystery Cruise concept in 2028 with the debut of an 11-day Mystery Journey, beginning June 15.<\/p>\n

    Guests will know only two details in advance \u2013 arrival via Luxembourg Airport and departure from Z\u00fcrich Airport \u2013 with the itinerary and destinations kept under wraps until departure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
