Adelaide Airport will overhaul its self-service check-in and bag drop offering under a new agreement with Amadeus, in a move designed to empower travellers and cut queues.<\/strong><\/p>\n Australia\u2019s fifth-busiest airport will install more than 50 Amadeus Seamless Bag Drop S7 Air and S7 Air Hybrid units, which can run in full self-service or agent-staffed modes. The units feature a side-loading design intended to make it easier to load bags and manoeuvre large items such as wheelchairs, strollers and trolleys.<\/p>\n These will be paired with around 80 Amadeus Seamless Kiosks, aimed at delivering a faster, smoother self-service check-in experience.<\/p>\n As part of the upgrade, Adelaide Airport will also shift its passenger processing technology to the cloud via Amadeus\u2019s Airport Cloud Use Service (ACUS).
