Damascus, Nov. 8 (SANA)<\/strong> President Ahmad al-Sharaa<\/a> has issued Decree No. 210 of 2026, formally recognizing 24 faculties and academic institutes at Idlib University<\/a> and incorporating them into Syria\u2019s university regulatory framework.<\/p>\n

The decree recognizes the institutions from their respective dates of establishment, spanning 2015 to 2026, and amends the executive regulations of the Universities Organization Law<\/a> to include them within the university\u2019s official academic structure.<\/p>\n

The recognized institutions cover a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, science, education, economics, law and the humanities.<\/p>\n

They also include faculties based in the city of Dana<\/a>, offering programs in education, arts, economics and administration, and Sharia.<\/p>\n

Under the decree, the original establishment dates of all 24 institutions are formally acknowledged, including the Faculty of Law, established on February 26, 2026.<\/p>\n
