Destinations include Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Vancouver.

The first release is on sale now and covers 10 return services (20 flights). They include Tokyo in January for the peak snow season, Paris in February in time for Valentine’s Day, and Hobart during the school holidays.

Select international flights will be operated by Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 aircraft, opening up reward seats from First through to Economy.

Qantas Loyalty and Customer CEO Andrew Glance said the series was designed to give members more opportunities to fly on points.

“We know how much our members value using their points on travel. Around 10 reward seats are booked every minute, and this series expands availability over and above the five million Classic Reward seats members can book today,” Glance said.

“Across the year, we’ll be launching Points Planes to some of the most sought-after destinations on our network. Some of these flights will be operated by our Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 aircraft, offering members the chance to lock in that dream trip travelling in Business or First.”

Glance said the airline had seen double-digit growth in new Qantas Points-earning credit cards issued over the past three months, as well as strong appetite to earn through retail and insurance.

“As more members build their points balances, we want the seats to be there when they are ready to book them,” he said.

Qantas introduced Points Planes in 2019, with premium cabin seats on that inaugural flight selling out in minutes. Members redeemed points on 10 million rewards in FY26, including a record number on flights.

Beyond the Points Planes, members can book Classic and Classic Plus Reward seats to more than 1300 destinations with Qantas and over 30 partner airlines.

Each Classic Reward requires a fixed number of points per route, plus taxes, fees and carrier charges. Members can book through the Qantas App and qantas.com as each release goes live.

Example routes

Example routes on sale now (from, in Qantas Points, plus taxes, fees and carrier charges)

Route

Economy

Premium Economy

Business

Sydney–Paris (via Singapore)

63,500

124,700

166,300

Sydney and Melbourne–Tokyo

36,200

–

98,400

Brisbane–Tokyo

29,000

–

82,100

Sydney–Hobart

13,800

–

29,000

Melbourne–Hobart

9,200

–

19,300

Brisbane–Hobart

13,800

–

29,000

kabarsula SLOT

Qantas Frequent Flyer will operate dozens of domestic and international Points Planes throughout 2027, with…

[1

post-4250","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-kabarsula
["GET
