Scoot is bringing a taste of Asia to Sydney through its Scoot Stopover Cafe pop-up, a four-day pop-up serving free destination-inspired coffee and tea creations across the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n Running from 29 October to 1 November, the activation will visit Circular Quay, Parramatta Square, Martin Place and Chatswood, with each drink inspired by destinations across the airline\u2019s network. Visitors can also spin a prize wheel for the chance to win Scoot travel vouchers and merchandise.<\/p>\n Scoot\u2019s general manager for Australia, Adam Kelly, told Travel Weekly<\/em> that the initiative was designed to give Sydneysiders a dose of travel inspiration, while allowing the airline to connect with potential customers face to face.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be able to actually stand here, have a conversation with people, and find out what they\u2019re thinking about in terms of travelling; it\u2019s a kind of survey and feedback that you don\u2019t often get an opportunity to do,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n The pop-up reflects Scoot\u2019s broader efforts to make the travel experience more engaging, including through themed aircraft interiors and special liveries.<\/p>\n The airline has maintained its Pok\u00e9mon partnership since 2022 and recently collaborated with Spider-Man, with activations designed to bring an added element of fun to the passenger journey.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s obvious that it engages young children, but the amount of older adults that have embraced it as well has been incredible,\u201d Kelly said of the Pok\u00e9mon partnership.<\/p>\n \u201cAs long as we can engage people, and they\u2019re having an enjoyable journey, that\u2019s just a bonus,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n Scoot\u2019s focus on the customer experience comes as the airline celebrates its recent Skytrax recognition, winning the World\u2019s Best Long Haul Low-Cost Airline award, which Kelly described as a source of pride for the business.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re honoured to have that award for six years in a row now. We take it with pride, but we also don\u2019t take it for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelly added that maintaining the recognition required a continued focus on service across the airline.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re continually looking at the ways that we can improve our service and what we offer to customers, because we want to maintain that,\u201d he said. \u201cThe award is really just a reflection of the hard work that everyone has put in across the entire group.\u201d<\/p>\n For Australian travellers, Scoot\u2019s expanding network across Asia remains a key opportunity.<\/p>\n \u201cWe always look at opportunities to increase our capacity across Australia to provide better connectivity and more availability,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n The airline is also keeping an eye on opportunities at Western Sydney International Airport, where sister airline Singapore Airlines is preparing to commence services from November 23, 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cWestern Sydney is an extremely important market to us. We know that they come into Sydney Airport and they fly with us.
