James Ansell has officially joined Contiki as head of digital products, making the move permanent following a successful secondment from agency partner Publicis Worldwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ansell, who previously served as head of digital experience at Publicis Worldwide, has spent the past few months leading Contiki\u2019s website transformation and will now continue the work as a permanent member of the team.<\/p>\n In his new role, he will oversee the evolution of the youth travel brand\u2019s digital products, with a focus on improving customer experiences, driving innovation and strengthening its competitive edge.<\/p>\n Ansell brings more than 18 years of experience in digital strategy, account management and product delivery, having worked across London, New York, Sydney and Brisbane.<\/p>\n Contiki chief customer officer Toni Ambler said Ansell had already made a significant impact during his secondment.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the past few months, James has played a pivotal role in leading our website transformation, bringing together our teams, agency partners and technology roadmap to drive the next evolution of our digital experience,\u201d Ambler said.<\/p>\n \u201cHis leadership, product mindset and ability to bring clarity to complex challenges have already had a significant impact, and we\u2019re excited to have him continue that journey with us.\u201d<\/p>\n Ansell said he was delighted to make his position official after feeling part of The Travel Corporation (TTC) family from day one.<\/p>\n \u201cI have felt part of the TTC family from day 1 so I\u2019m delighted to be making this permanent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cAn ambitious bar has been set for our digital experiences, and my focus now is simple: turn the roadmap into products that give Contiki a real competitive edge.
