The Victorian Convention and Event Trust (VCET) has appointed Paul Kanaan as acting general manager, Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre. <\/strong><\/p>\n The appointment follows the departure of Rick Aylett, who will finish with the organisation on Friday 16 October.<\/p>\n Kanaan, currently Head of Food and Beverage at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), will assume the role effective Monday 19 October.<\/p>\n With more than 20 years\u2019 experience at MCEC, Kanaan brings substantial expertise, comprehensive operational knowledge and a strong passion for delivering exceptional events.<\/p>\n VCET Chief Operations Officer Lauren Milsop said he was ideally placed to lead the team through an important period.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Paul to the role of acting general manager.
