Scenic Group has opened pre-registration for the 2030 Oberammergau Passion Play, with river cruise and land journey packages to follow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scenic and Emerald Cruises are inviting travel advisors and guests to register their interest in the once-in-a-decade event, which runs from 18 May to 6 October 2030 in the Bavarian village of Oberammergau.<\/p>\n

The 43rd production continues a tradition dating to 1634, with local residents performing the story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. About 100 performances are expected across the season.<\/p>\n

Scenic\u2019s program will pair performance access with river cruises along the Rhine, Main and Danube, as well as handcrafted land journeys. Itineraries, departure dates, accommodation, inclusions and availability will be announced in due course.<\/p>\n

Scenic Group vice president river cruising product Elisabeth Sadler said the event is one many guests plan years in advance.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy opening pre-registration now, guests and travel advisors have the opportunity to register their interest early,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

With limited capacity expected, Scenic is encouraging early sign-ups to secure priority updates. Advisors and guests can pre-register through their travel advisor, Scenic Reservations on 138 128 or Emerald Reservations on 1300 286 110.<\/p>\n
