Trafalgar has launched \u201cThe Great Godmother Search\u201d to find a godmother for its newest river ship, Trafalgar Dreamer<\/em>, which debuts on the Seine in April 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n Past Trafalgar guests are invited to submit a meaningful story or memory from their travels with the brand. The winner will christen the ship and join its inaugural sailing. If they name a travel agent in their entry, that agent will also receive a complimentary place on the voyage.<\/p>\n Trafalgar is encouraging agents to share the opportunity with clients, but has asked that they not submit entries on behalf of their guests. Advisors should remind clients to include their name when completing the entry.<\/p>\n The search builds on a tradition started with Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie, whose godmothers were past guests Cassie Estrella-Roca from the US and Australian Kate McIntosh respectively. \u00a0See their Instagram post HERE<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n TTC Tour Brands deputy CEO and chief sales officer Melissa DaSilva said the search was a chance to celebrate the connections guests have made through travel.<\/p>\n \u201cOur travel agents are an important part of those journeys, and we wanted to recognise their role in orchestrating these memorable experiences,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Entries close on 29 October 2026.
