Damascus, Sept. 28 (SANA)<\/strong> Syria <\/a>and the U.S. discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and move from dialogue toward practical, institutional cooperation.<\/p>\n

The talks took place during a meeting between the Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates<\/a>, Qutaiba Kadish, and a U.S. State Department delegation headed by Andrew Kent.<\/p>\n

The two sides stressed the United States<\/a>\u2019 role in supporting Syria\u2019s recovery and stability and discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

The meeting also addressed the \u201cSyria Without Camps\u201d initiative as a priority for the current phase, with representatives of relevant Syrian ministries attending.<\/p>\n
