Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) and Uber have announced a partnership to help passengers to travel to and from Sydney\u2019s new, 24-hour airport from 25 October.<\/strong><\/p>\n Uber will have an exclusive pick-up zone, only 100 metres walk from WSI\u2019s terminal, including 10 kerbside pick-up bays designed for seamless departures.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the countdown continues to the launch of our inaugural passenger services on October 25, it\u2019s fantastic to have so many options available for passengers to get to and from WSI,\u201d WSI CEO Simon Hickey said. \u201cWe know how convenient rideshare is for passengers, being able to order an Uber on demand, with transparent upfront costs and timings applied to your journey.\u201d<\/p>\n Uber and WSI will continue to share the airport\u2019s flight schedule with drivers as new routes and services come onboard to ensure driver visibility and availability in line with anticipated passenger demand.<\/p>\n \u201cWestern Sydney International Airport is one of the most anticipated infrastructure projects in the country, and we\u2019re excited to partner with the team from day one,\u201d Uber managing director for Australia and New Zealand Emma Foley said. \u201cA\u00a0dedicated Uber pick-up zone at Western Sydney International Airport will give travellers a safe, effortless and welcoming way to continue their journey, while supporting better connections across Western Sydney and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n
