Image credit: Kazushige Yamamoto.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Highlighted areas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Tokyo\u2019s Waterfront: art meets the bay \u2013 The festival opens on 10 and 11 October with Arte Tokyo Circus in Odaiba, transforming the Tokyo Bay waterfront into a stage for contemporary circus, live music and acrobatic performance.<\/li>\n<li>Hibiya and Marunouchi: seeing central Tokyo differently \u2013 From mid-November, Arte Tokyo will bring contemporary art into the streets and public spaces of Hibiya and Marunouchi, from Tokyo Midtown Hibiya and Hibiya Park to Tokyo International Forum and the area around Tokyo Station.<\/li>\n<li>Yoyogi and Shibuya: parks, culture and winter lights \u2013 In December, Yoyogi and Shibuya become another major focus, with art and cultural experiences appearing throughout Yoyogi Park and surrounding public spaces.<\/li>\n<li>Hama-rikyu Gardens after dark \u2013 Arte Tokyo will also offer a different way to experience one of the city\u2019s historic landscapes.
