Mulpha Australia has settled the acquisition of a one-third interest in the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour and ibis Sydney Darling Harbour.<\/strong><\/p>\n The acquisition settled on 21 September and was completed alongside Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited and Wentworth Capital.<\/p>\n Together, the two well-established hospitality assets in one of Australia\u2019s leading tourism and business precincts comprise 781 rooms \u2013 525 at the Novotel and 256 at the ibis. Both properties sit within Sydney\u2019s Darling Harbour precinct and will continue to be managed by Accor.<\/p>\n The deal marks a key step in Mulpha\u2019s ongoing portfolio strategy, following a series of divestments of non-core assets over the past 12 months, and reflects the group\u2019s focus on redeploying capital into high-quality opportunities aligned with its capabilities and long-term investment objectives.<\/p>\n Mulpha Australia head of hotels, hospitality & leisure Marcus Hanna said the acquisition brought together high-quality assets, an outstanding location and strong, aligned investment partners.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Novotel and ibis are substantial, well-established hotels in one of Sydney\u2019s most important tourism and business precincts.
