Expedia Group\u2019s B2B arm announced it is partnering with National Australia Bank (NAB) to provide the newly launched NAB Travel booking experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n The partnership is the company\u2019s first arrangement of this kind with an Australian bank.<\/p>\n NAB Travel brings Expedia Group B2B\u2019s travel technology, inventory and customer support capabilities to NAB\u2019s customers in Australia, through, a new booking experience.<\/p>\n \u201cThe partnership represents Expedia Group\u2019s commitment to growing and enhancing the traveller experience through cutting-edge technologies, empowering our partners to deliver great experiences to their customers and drive customer loyalty,\u201d Expedia Group B2B senior vice president of sales Carolina Cabero said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re proud to welcome NAB as Expedia Group B2B\u2019s first Australian banking partner and support the launch of NAB Travel.\u201d<\/p>\n The relationship extends the company\u2019s B2B footprint in Australia into a new distribution channel, bringing its travel technology, inventory and customer support capabilities into a platform millions of Australians already use and trust for their everyday banking.<\/p>\n NAB Travel\u2019s launch comes as Australians increasingly look beyond traditional travel providers when planning and booking trips. Expedia Group\u2019s 2025 Traveller Value Index found 63 per cent of Australian consumers are somewhat or more likely to travel internationally in the next 12 months, while travellers are balancing their appetite to get away with a growing focus on value and flexibility.<\/p>\n Expedia Group\u2019s 2025 Traveller Value Index indicates that many Australians are open to booking travel through non-travel loyalty programs when rewards are available.<\/p>\n The research also highlights an opportunity for travel to become more closely integrated with everyday banking and rewards.
