Royal Caribbean named retired US Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson as godmother of Legend of the Seas, the newest Icon Class ship and the boldest family holiday at sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n Robinson has spent her career serving as the nation\u2019s first female combatant commander and former leader of NORAD and NORTHCOM.<\/p>\n \u201cI am deeply honored to be named godmother of Legend of the Seas and take part in such a special tradition for Royal Caribbean alongside my family,\u201d Robinson said. \u201cThroughout my career, I have seen the importance of bringing people together in pursuit of a shared purpose, and Legend<\/em> creates those same connections for families and loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n She is a pioneering leader, role model for women and advocate for individuals balancing careers and families.<\/p>\n Robinson brings a legacy of courage, determination and service to the ship\u2019s next chapter.
