FCM Consulting, a division of FCM Travel, has appointed Gemma King as global practice lead, outsourced travel resources (OTR).<\/strong><\/p>\n King will lead the growth of the company\u2019s OTR practice and give enterprise clients flexible, on-demand access to senior travel management expertise.<\/p>\n She brings more than 20 years of experience designing, building and transforming corporate travel programs for large global organisations. King joins from Omnicom Group, where she spent the past decade leading global travel strategy.<\/p>\n As vice president of global corporate travel, she expanded Omnicom\u2019s global travel program from 11 to 30 countries and established its first carbon reduction targets, governance framework and traveller security program. Prior to this, she led travel category management at KPMG.<\/p>\n King\u2019s appointment follows FCM\u2019s decision to bring its global account management and consulting functions together under a single customer-led vision, led by chief customer officer Jo Lloyd.<\/p>\n \u201cGemma brings extensive experience from the buyer side of the industry, having spent much of her career leading multinational travel programs and major transformation initiatives,\u201d Lloyd said<\/p>\n \u201cThat perspective will be invaluable as we grow OTR and give clients access to experienced people who understand first-hand the challenges they are managing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
