He went on to grow the business from a start-up venture into an organisation generating $29 million in annual turnover.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter nearly 11 years of leadership at Inside Travel, I have decided that the time is right to begin the next chapter of my career,\u201d Oakes said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring my tenure at Inside Travel, we grew the Australian operation from zero to approximately $29 million in turnover, successfully established our InsideJapan and InsideAsia brands in the Australian market and built a strong leadership team for the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been an incredible privilege to work alongside talented colleagues around the world and help grow a business that is respected throughout the industry for its expertise, values and commitment to exceptional travel experiences.
