This\u00a0requires\u00a0imposing measures\u00a0on\u00a0key entities,\u00a0including Israeli government ministries,\u00a0implicated in\u00a0establishing,\u00a0maintaining\u00a0and providing material support to illegal settlements\u00a0and settlement\u00a0infrastructure,\u00a0as well as\u00a0taking\u00a0effective\u00a0action to\u00a0prevent and\u00a0halt\u00a0the\u00a0forcible transfer of Palestinians.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAll states\u00a0must\u00a0make\u00a0absolutely clear\u00a0that they will no longer provide political,\u00a0financial\u00a0and military support\u00a0that contributes\u00a0to\u00a0Israel\u2019s serious and systematic violations\u00a0of\u00a0international law.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThey must also\u00a0impose targeted sanctions, including travel bans and asset freezes, against Benjamin Netanyahu, Bezalel Smotrich, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel Katz and Orit Strock as Israeli officials directly implicated in\u00a0the ethnic cleansing and forcible\u00a0transfer\u00a0of Palestinians\u00a0in the West Bank, and\u00a0in maintaining Israel\u2019s\u00a0unlawful occupation and apartheid.\u00a0They must also ban the transfer of arms and security equipment\u00a0that risk\u00a0facilitating\u00a0Israeli violations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cFor their part, EU states must now call on President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to present them with a proposal for a comprehensive EU-wide ban\u00a0on\u00a0trade with settlements, and on key states to support it, including Italy and Germany.\u00a0They must also\u00a0take the next logical step and suspend the\u00a0EU-Israel\u00a0Association\u00a0Agreement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no longer any room for\u00a0excuses,\u00a0delays\u00a0or half measures. Failure to act decisively\u00a0to tackle\u00a0Israel\u2019s mass violations\u00a0against Palestinians sends\u00a0a dangerous signal that states are unwilling to uphold their own legal obligations. It\u00a0also\u00a0emboldens the\u00a0Israeli authorities to continue violating international law with impunity while\u00a0denying\u00a0Palestinians\u00a0meaningful\u00a0protection.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
