Hilton Australia has been recognised as the Number 1 hospitality workplace by Great Place to Work in the category of companies with more than 1,000 employees.
The achievement follows Hilton’s Great Place to Work certification across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, and the broader brand’s recognition as the top workplace in Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For 2025.
“Behind this recognition are our team members building meaningful careers and supporting one another every day,” regional head of human resources, Australasia, Stephanie Lopesi said.
“Hospitality offers extraordinary pathways for growth, and at Hilton we are focused on making sure our people have the tools, support and opportunities to build careers they are proud of.”
This recognition reflects Hilton’s focus on creating a workplace committed to inclusion, wellness, purpose and growth, offering a range of programs that support team members.
These include Thrive at Hilton, a holistic framework for physical, mental and financial wellness; Lead@Hilton, a global learning platform for leadership development; Care for All, an industry-leading caregiving support initiative; and Go Hilton, the company’s team member travel program offering discounted hotel rates.
Hilton area vice president and head of Australasia, Paul Hutton, said that the recognition was especially meaningful because it reflects the voices and experiences of Hilton’s team members.
“At Hilton, we know that a great workplace is built every day – through the way we lead, listen, recognise and care for one another. We are incredibly proud of this achievement, and even prouder of our 1,800 team members behind it,” Hutton said.
“As we continue to grow across Australasia, our commitment remains clear: to create a workplace where every team member feels supported, valued and inspired to thrive.”
