Holland America Line welcomed a select group of trade representatives from Australia and New Zealand onboard an Alaska famil that gave them first-hand experience of the destination.
The famil combined some of Alaska and Canada’s most iconic landscapes with the line’s signature onboard experience.
The voyage took guests from Anchorage and Denali through Fairbanks and Dawson before continuing to Skagway and sailing aboard Koningsdam to Vancouver. Holland America Line sales manager, Belinda Clark, and key account manager Erin King, hosted the famil.
The famil provided a land-based Cruisetour program, which offered the group the opportunity to experience Alaska beyond the cruise itself, including the McKinley Explorer rail journey, a narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour through Denali National Park and the Riverboat Discovery Tour in Fairbanks.

Onboard Koningsdam, the group experienced scenic cruising through Glacier Bay and the Inside Passage, alongside a visit to Ketchikan and a range of Holland America Line’s signature dining and entertainment offerings.
“Of all the Cruise Tours we have available, if you have clients wanting to really see Alaska, with the wildlife and those smaller more unique towns, then the Denali & Yukon really is the way to go,” Clark said. “It truly combines small town Alaska, great people and stunning scenery and wildlife.”
Holland America Line has been exploring Alaska for nearly 80 years.
