itravel took out the top prize at United Airlines’ annual Brisbane Trivia Night, with three members each winning two return tickets to the US including accommodation.

Pamela Goldsbro (LUXE by itravel), Mandi Forrester-Jones and Leica Marek (both Viva Travel) were the winners, taking home six tickets between them.

The event was hosted by United Airlines AU leisure sales manager Belinda Condon and her team at the Port Office Hotel, and capped off a few days in Brisbane for itravel CEO Steve Labroski and national sales BDM Jo Howard, who met with members across the region.

Earlier, south-east Queensland members gathered at CVFR’s Brisbane office for updates from Hawaiian Airlines, Club Med, Uniworld and itravel head office, followed by lunch at Riverland Brisbane.

Queensland is itravel’s second-largest member base, and CEO Labroski said bringing members together with suppliers remains a priority.

“Spending time with our Queensland members is incredibly important to us,” he said. “These catch-ups give us the opportunity to listen, share ideas and understand how we can continue to support them in their businesses.”

Howard said the trivia night was an entertaining way to continue the day’s conversations.

“It was great to spend the day with our SE Queensland members, connecting with each other and our supplier partners. Having some of our members join us for the trivia night was a fantastic way to continue the fun, and did they bring their A game!”
