The Walshe Group has expanded its Delta Air Lines sales team in Australia, appointing two agency sales account executives to cover Victoria and Queensland.

Trudie Mansfield joined the team in September as agency sales account executive for Queensland, while Deniz Ogutveren started in October in the same role for Victoria. Both will support Delta’s agency sales and account management activities.

Based in Brisbane, Mansfield will focus on growing revenue and market share across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, with an emphasis on Delta’s Brisbane–Los Angeles service. She has more than 20 years’ aviation experience, including account management roles with Virgin Australia.

Ogutveren, based in Melbourne, will cover Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, focusing on the Melbourne–Los Angeles route. He joins from Envoyage and Slice Pay, with a background spanning travel, fintech, business development and agency partnership management.

The Walshe Group says the appointments will strengthen its dedicated sales support for Delta in Australia, helping the airline build agency relationships and grow demand in key markets.

The Walshe Group has represented Delta in New Zealand since 1982 and in Australia since 2016, providing local sales and public relations support.
