Riyadh, Sept. 29 (SANA) Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed Tuesday Saudi Arabia’s commitment to Sudan’s stability, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.

The remarks came during a phone call with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the call, Mohammed bin Salman expressed Saudi Arabia’s support for efforts to restore stability in Sudan, promote comprehensive development and facilitate the return of displaced people and refugees to their homes.

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohieddin Salim said Monday that Sudan rejected attempts to impose external solutions or agendas on the country and opposed foreign interference.

Fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued since April 2023, causing widespread casualties and displacing millions of people inside and outside the country.
