Polar and South America tour expert, Chimu Adventures has hosted a group of eight fortunate travel advisors on an unforgettable expedition cruise to Greenland.

The group experienced the 8-day Disko Bay and Beyond itinerary on the Ocean Albatros, a modern X-bow vessel offering Polar travel in comfort.

Each lucky advisor was the winner of this year’s sales-based Great Chimu Incentive, offering advisors the chance to join a Chimu famil by selling Chimu sea and land itineraries.

From walking tours through colourful villages like Sisimiut and Ilulissat, meeting adorable Greenlandic sled dogs, and afternoons enjoying the luxury spa and sauna on the Ocean Albatros, each day was a perfect combination of adventure and relaxation.

The Northern Lights even appeared on several evenings, and watching the mysterious green lights dance through the sky was a voyage highlight for many on board. In the town of Ilulissat, the group of advisors visited the UNESCO Ilulissat Icefjords by scenic helicopter, cruise, or via the boardwalk from town, and seeing the towering iceberg formations was truly unforgettable.
