Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) and Uber have announced a partnership to help passengers to travel to and from Sydney’s new, 24-hour airport from 25 October.

Uber will have an exclusive pick-up zone, only 100 metres walk from WSI’s terminal, including 10 kerbside pick-up bays designed for seamless departures.

“As the countdown continues to the launch of our inaugural passenger services on October 25, it’s fantastic to have so many options available for passengers to get to and from WSI,” WSI CEO Simon Hickey said. “We know how convenient rideshare is for passengers, being able to order an Uber on demand, with transparent upfront costs and timings applied to your journey.”

Uber and WSI will continue to share the airport’s flight schedule with drivers as new routes and services come onboard to ensure driver visibility and availability in line with anticipated passenger demand.

Earlier this month, WSI unveiled launch parking rates starting from$15 a day to welcome its first passengers.
