LATAM Airlines Group CEO Roberto Alvo has been named the recipient of the 2026 BRAVO CEO of the Year Award.

The distinction will be presented by the Council of the Americas (COA) at the 31st BRAVO Business Awards, set to take place on November 19 2026 in Miami.

The award recognises Alvo’s leadership in LATAM’s transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic, arguably one of the most challenging periods in the history of the aviation industry.

Since assuming the role of CEO in March 2020, Alvo has led the company through a comprehensive financial restructuring aimed at strengthening the carrier’s resilience and long-term growth.

Under his leadership, LATAM achieved its strongest financial performance to date, accelerated its digital transformation and advanced its operational efficiency.

Alvo also placed a strong emphasis on people throughout the process, supporting the dedication and commitment of the more than 44,000 employees who make up the group.
